About

I’m Pete, and I’ve been coding since I was 8 years old. I started with Turbo Basic, moved on to VB3 and now I develop highly scalable html5 web apps using ASP.NET, as well as providing contributions to community projects where I can.

As well as coding I enjoy trampolining and gymnastics and I’m about to get married to my wonderful Australian fiancé.

I recently set up a consultancy firm called One and Three Consulting.

  1. Hi Pete,

I loved your article about ditching the overhead of nancy for a pure api! I quickly fired up a VM and started coding out your example, but I couldn’t get it working.

Any ideas what I could be doing wrong? I spent a good bit of time diagnosing before bothering you, but nada.

    Thanks man!

Hey dude, glad you enjoyed it! Because OWIN and bits are all moving so quickly lately it’s entirely possible some libs may have moved on in terms of version and broken something in the example method… have you tried firing up the project here https://github.com/Roysvork/OwinModulesHelloWorld and seeing if that works for you?

If I get any time this week I’ll try and run through things again with all the latest bits to see for myself, but hopefully that sample github repo will get you going for now.

      Pete
